A little gem tucked into the leafy suburb of Hendra

The phrase, I will meet you at Saabi, is very often uttered amongst my mothers group. It is a hot favourite with us due to its strong coffee, yummy food and gorgeous courtyard in the back.

[Link http://www.saabicafe.com/ Saabi on Manson] is in the leafy suburb of Hendra, which neighbours Ascot and Clayfield. It is filled with rustic charm, antiques and you will always be warmly welcomed on arrival. It really is a little home away from home.



Of course the best part of any cafe is the coffee. Coffee is synonomous with Mums, and Saabi has full bodied coffee, with beans locally roasted in Brisbane's West End. Whether its a take away or a cup to be savoured there, you will get the caffeine hit you want. And need.

If tea is more your thing, it will come served in beautiful china, which I know my friends from the UK in particular really appreciated. They also have a simple yet tasty menu and fresh menu.



The menu is all day, and includes delicious breakfast foods like smoked salmon or serrano ham scrambled eggs, halloumi stack or roasted mushrooms on sourdough. For lunch there are loaded sandwiches, toasties or pancakes. Yes I eat pancakes for lunch.

Saabi also has the kids covered with eggs, cheesy toast, avo toast or pancakes. Which can be served with a smoothie, milkshake, babycino or juice.

My favourite part of Saabi as a Mum is that they have a fully enclosed courtyard out the back with grass and tables. Your little ones can join you at the table, or have a little run around in the sunshine. It is a lovely and relaxed space. It is also dog friendly!
