All the fun of a country fair comes to the Samford Show from 12 and 13 July 2025.


For over five decades, the Samford Show has been welcoming visitors with local competitions, displays, daring rides, yummy food and much more. The show had its beginnings as a school fair until 1974, when the Golden Valley Pony Club (GVPC) ran its first show.

As time has passed, the show has continued to evolve and grow and this year will be once again jam-packed with thrilling, family-friendly entertainment, including:







There will be some friendly competition to find the best animals in the show, which will feature beef stud cattle, equestrian, and poultry. You also have the chance to check the local talent at a range of exhibits to browse through: adults' and children's arts and crafts, cookery, horticulture, and photography.

Tickets to the community-focused show range from free to $50.00 and are available through Localtix here or at the gate on the day.

The Samford Showgrounds is located at Showgrounds Drive, Highvale, north of Brisbane in the rural lands of the Moreton Bay region 22 kilometres from the Brisbane Central Business District.

The Samford Show Society presents this all-ages event.
