The Brisbane seaside suburb of Sandgate will be showcasing its local music youth talent at the Sandgate Youth Festival on 6 September 2025.



The festival is a community-focused event aimed at supporting local and emerging talent aged under 25 and celebrating local youth, creativity and community. Musicians and acts taking to the stage can be solo performers as well as groups. There's even an open-air dance floor.

Local Government Councillor for the Deagon Ward, Jared Cassidy has also announced a Music and Performance Competition as part of the expanded Sandgate Youth Festival.



As well as enjoying the music, you can also grab a bite to eat at the food trucks and stop by the markets.

The FREE festival runs from 4:00 pm to 8:30pm at Einbunpin Lagoon Park at 70 Brighton Road, Sandgate.

Sandgate is located 23 kilometres from the Brisbane Central Business District.
