For six weeks, Brisbane will feature a replica of one of the world's most famous monuments. From 6 June to 14 July 2025, the famous Eiffel Tower will call Brisbane home to bring some European flair to South East Queensland.

Nothing says Paris like the elegant and stately wrought iron lattice Eiffel Tower, which overlooks the French capital's skyline with grace and flair. Now, a miniature version of the structure has landed in Brisbane for a limited winter season.

The installation of the mini Eiffel Tower just happens to coincide with the 15th Anniversary of Le Festival - the three-day Brisbane French Festival, which will overtake South Bank from 4 to 6 July 2025 (insert story link) with food, wine, entertainment, and cultural masterclasses which ooze with French brilliance.

The Brisbane Eiffel Tower is considerably smaller than the original but has all of the main hallmark features of the landmark Parisian building. It can also be educational for kids to have a mini geography, history and culture conversation with the tower as a talking point. However, like the original, it is a monument. No climbing allowed.

The tower has been installed in the Cultural Forecourt at South Bank Parklands. It adjoins another notable tourist hotspot like the Wheel of Brisbane , the Brisbane sign , and the Queensland Performing Arts Complex (QPAC) . If coming from the City, you can now access Southbank via the new Neville Bonner Bridge as well making even more accessible and the view, especially in winter is spectacular.

Like the Paris Tower, the Brisbane replica also lights up in French ruby and diamond colours at night. The tower is also fitted with sound speakers.

If all of that wasn't good enough, the tower is free is visit and is the perfect Instagram backdrop for your Brisbane photo. Surprise your friends with a little bit of francophile envy with a visit and photo from the Brisbane Eiffel Tower.

About the real Eiffel Tower in Paris
The Eiffel Tower was designed by Gustave Eiffel and constructed as the centerpiece of the 1889 World's Fair to crown the centennial anniversary of the French Revolution. Its is much larger than the Brisbane Tower with a square base measuring 125 metres (410 ft) on each side and can be seen right across the Paris landscape.

While it faced some initial controversy over its appearance and design, the structure is now of the most recognised buildings in the world and a major tourism attraction for visitors to France.

If you can't make it to Paris this summer, the Brisbane winter Eiffel Tower can be seen for a limited time from June to July. It is free to visit, 24/7.
