Amazing Food in a quiet setting

If I am looking for gourmet quality food but I don't want to go to a really expensive or fancy restaurant, I go to [Link https://www.thehamptonshendra.com.au/ The Hamptons]. This friendly neighbourhood cafe in the beautiful suburb of Hendra, is bright and welcoming and has an outdoor courtyard big enough to park a pram and where your kids can have a bit more space to roam.



The food at The Hamptons is coined as Modern and Traditional Australian, but there is always something and unique truly special about their menu items. The menu changes often and everything is created to an extremely high standard. They serve all day breakfast and lunch.

My favourite menu items are sweet potato and coconut fritters for breakfast and The KFC Big Burger with incredible chips for lunch. Yum!



There is also a small but popular kids menu with scrambled eggs, avocado on toast or dino nuggets. Kids will also love the range of sweets available in their cabinet.

If you don't want to eat in, The Hamptons have a wonderful take away window where you can roll up on foot, often with pram in tow, and order your delicious campos coffee to go.

Once you picked up your takeaway coffee, you can head to the nearby T.C. Beirne Park, my personal favourite park in Brisbane. Mostly due to the toddler friendly play equipment, massive jacaranda trees and beautifully maintained lawns that are perfect for a picnic rug. Another tip about going to the Hamptons? Their brownies are AMAZING. Gooey and indulgent and absolutely massive so perfect for sharing. You get a sample when you order a coffee, just so you can try.
