For those tiny humans who have a soft spot for picture books, Aussie World's is set to unfold on Thursday, August 7th. It sounds like a rather charming day for the littlest members of the family, celebrating all things story related without, thankfully, any actual exams.

Word has it they'll have face painting for anyone keen to transform into a mythical creature or perhaps a particularly grumpy koala. There's also a best dressed costume competition, which is probably more for the parents who secretly want to live out their favourite childhood character dreams through their offspring. And yes, you can even snag a photo with a superhero, just in case your little one needs tangible proof they met someone even more powerful than their own bedtime resistance.
