The north side's newest indoor play centre!

To some, indoor play centres can be a terrifying experience, full of children running around screaming and playing, and many nooks and crannies for a toddler to run into and hide.

But despite being terrifying for some, kids love them! They are a great option when it is raining outside, as well as just as a fantastic way to give your kids the opportunity to burn off excess energy.

I like taking my toddler to an indoor play centre as it means that I can sit down with a coffee with my mum friends, and know there is nowhere for him to escape to.



[Link https://www.urban-xtreme.com.au/ Urban Xtreme] is an adventure park and indoor skiing centre. Attractions include a playland, cafe, trampolines, laser tag, indoor skiing and snowboarding.

I visited last week with my toddler and was so impressed! Unlike some play centres, it is big and open plan so you can keep an eye on your toddler in the play area, as well as your teenager on the trampolines.




For toddlers and young kids aged 1 to 12, there is an [Link https://www.urban-xtreme.com.au/activities/playland/ play land] area fenced off with fake grass, tables and access to a cafe. There is plenty of structures for the little people to climb on, slide down and jump on. This includes a small rock climbing wall and a mini go-kart track. You can sit back and relax while the little people have a wonderful time playing.

For older kids, there is a multitude of [Link https://www.urban-xtreme.com.au/activities/bounce/ trampolines] they can bounce, flip and jump on. They can also take part in [Link https://www.urban-xtreme.com.au/pricing-faq/laser-tag/ laser tag]. Urban Xtreme has a laser tag arena.

If your little one under 100cm watches all the big kids jumping on the trampolines and wants to join in the fun, they can! On weekdays from 9-2pm, the large play gym is opened up for them to have a go. As the Mum of a toddler who LOVES anything adventurous, this is a game changer. It is also good exercise for me!

Speaking of exercise, [Link https://www.urban-xtreme.com.au/join-our-list/ registration] is opening up for Jump Fit classes. They will be an intense, full body workout for ages 13 and up. Beats the same boring old gym.



Longing for the days where you had easy access to the snow? Put your skiing and snowboard skills to the test in Brisbane. As Queensland’s only indoor coaching facility, either beginner or advanced skiers and snowboarders will be coached into becoming amazing by specially trained coaches. Boots, skis/boards and helmets are provided. There is also a kids ski school running as well as group classes.
