With riverside views and live music, Eat Street Markets are really something special. A huge sea of shipping containers have been decked out and filled with cuisines from literally every corner of the globe. Featuring over 70 traders including 5 themed bars, eclectic shops and micro restaurants.

From dumplings and pork belly, to donut fries topped with ice cream, you can sample dishes from Africa, Asia, South America, Europe and more. You don’t need to leave Brisbane to take a culinary trip around the world.

Especially now with overseas off the cards in the foreseeable future, what better way to hit those cravings that you may not be able to make yourself at home.

Once you have had your fill, or if you are just taking a short break, take your food baby to one of the excellet bars that offers beer, wine, cocktails and non alcoholic beverages too. My personal favourite being a mango coconut mocktail at Market Square.

Baby change facilities are located in the disabled toilets. If you go on a Sunday at opening time, you will have a bit more room to roam around if you have your pram. It can get very crowded, despite ample seating, but COVID safe guidelines are in place.

WHEN: Eat Street is open every weekend of the year, from Friday to Saturday 4pm to 10pm and Sunday noon to 9pm.

PARKING: There are 1400 free parking spaces, but it does pack out. An alternative to driving is to catch a City Cat to the Northshore Hamilton Ferry terminal.

COST: Entry is $5 except for under 12’s, which is free. There is an ATM at the entrance if you forget to bring cash. Entry is cash only and some vendors will only take cash as it speeds things up.

EVENTS: There is a huge array of fun and exciting events, including lots of live music. You can find the full lineup [LInk https://eatstreetnorthshore.com.au/whats-on here].
