Children are encouraged to explore and learn about the world around them through play. They will love the open playground and outdoor area. This haven for discovery features vegetable gardens, a worm farm, water pump and a creek bed.
Along with all the fun inside the centre, there is plenty of exploring to be done within the community. Children will love the busy excursion program, events and fundraisers.
Jacaranda Early Learning Centre – Underwood has a great connection with the community, with children visiting a variety of locations, such as local parks, Big W, Bunnings and local cafes for a babyccino!
Every day, the centre’s on-site cook prepares nutritionally balanced meals using fresh, seasonal ingredients. Children can also enjoy their meals in the dedicated piazza while socialising.
To help children further understand food and good nutrition, the centre’s educators host weekly cooking classes the kids can get involved in!
Jacaranda Early Learning Centre – Underwood is run by dedicated Centre Manager, Julie Goodall, who has over 20 years’ experience in early years education.
“I support children in their early years journey by providing complex learning spaces that spark interest and encourage children to hypothesise, as well as creating play-based environments that provoke questions and curiosity.”
The Extracurricular Summit is the first of its kind in Australia. The summit aims to help families discover opportunities beyond sport, music and school and to see the life-changing impact extracurricular activities can make.
