My son and his 2 friends all have birthdays within 2 weeks of each other. This year, I decided to give them all a voucher for Laserzone as their present.

All 3 boys loved it and they were definitely worn out!

After coming up with a team name the boys suited up for their first game. I didn’t go inside the laser tag area but could hear lots of squealing and shrieking from those participating. They were certainly enjoying shooting their opponents!

Once the first game was over they hit the arcades. The games are colour-coded - purple games were free, yellow games cost to play and no tickets given and blue games cost to play and you received tickets. Games included air hockey, old-school fighting games, basketball shooting and motorbike racing to name a few.



The boys played for a while and then it was time for their second Laserzone game - which they won! Back to the arcades and then they had a turn on the bumper cars. This was absolutely hilarious to watch!


They then played a few more of the free arcades before it was time to go.

The boys had a blast and agreed it was a great gift idea. Personally, I loved the free arcades as I wasn’t having to hand over more money to my son for the machines!

The package we did was $26 for 1 hour. They also offer a 2-hour package for $34. Bookings can be made online and you can see how many spots are left each session. We went on the school holidays in the afternoon and there weren’t too many people there.

The kids had a great time and I got to catch up with friends - a great afternoon!
