The Museum of Brisbane (MoB) will host a series of fun things to do and learn in this year's school holiday activities program.

The Museum's school holiday activities of boredom-busting creative tasks, exploratory games, and activities will be available from Saturday 14 December 2024 to Monday 27 January 2025.

Join in the workshops which include:

Taking the Young Explorers Tour of the Museum's New Light: Photography Now + Then Exhibition

Crafting native plants at Macaranga Mates

Creating a one-of-a-kind kite featuring your favourite family pictures

Creating a Camera Obscura Workshop

Learning how to make your own "zine" in Teen Zines Workshop

Becoming a detective for the day with a game of Little Artist's Eye Spy and

Take in the skyline views of Brisbane by taking a Clock Tower Tour .

The MoB is an important arts institution in the South East that is central to Brisbane's evolving life, its histories, and contemporary cultures. Throughout the year it exhibits artworks from the City of Brisbane collection and contemporary exhibitions by some of the city's leading artists.

The Museum is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is located in the heart of the CBD in City Hall . Just take the lift to level 3 of the towering building in King George Square, 64 Adelaide Street, Brisbane. Be sure to check the website for exact dates and times and any additional costs of the activities.
