Bring your mates and the family to Fortitude Valley for the on Duncan Street. Lanterns bob, lion and dragon dances parade, taiko drumming thunders and martial artists do their thing, so there will be plenty to watch and the evening's entertainment is free.

Savour authentic Asian dishes at your favourite Valley restaurant or wander the stalls and graze your way down the street. It's a relaxed community night out with food, performance and heaps of colour, so wear comfy shoes and bring an appetite — and yes, there will probably be more lanterns than you can shake a chopstick at.
