Places for Pony Rides in Brisbane

Where to take your kids to ride

At Christmas time, so many fetes and events for families and kids have pony rides available and my little one got a bit addicted to them. He now thinks that pony rides should just be part of his regular week!

But outside of school fetes and festivals, where can you go in Brisbane to take your kids for a pony ride?



The Brisbane Crochet Club meets weekly to learn crochet, meet other Brisbane mums, and have a good chat. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to come along!
You and your family are invited to a Photography for Parents Workshop on Sunday 28th April at New Farm Park.
Trevena Glen Farm

Trevena Glen is a beautiful farm located in the D'Aguilar Range only a 40 minute drive from Brisbane CBD. They have a monthly farm open day where kids can meet the animals, have a wagon ride, jump on the jumping castle, and of course, enjoy a pony ride.

Mini Mates

You and your family are invited to a Photography for Parents Workshop on Sunday 28th April at New Farm Park.

Mini Mates is a miniature horse and pony farm in Burbank. They offer children's farm visits for Birthday Parties, Horse Riding, Playgroups, School Excursions, and School Holiday Farm Days. They operate five days a week for pony rides. Children also have the opportunity to feed, brush, and pat the ponies while visiting the farm.

Old Petrie Town

Old Petrie Town has a wonderful market and regularly has pony rides available. You can find out about upcoming markets and events here.

Horses in Mind

Horses In Mind is a non-profit service offering riders of any ability to learn all aspects of horsemanship. children and adults can learn all aspects of horse care in a safe and friendly environment. Children will learn how to work with horses on the ground and in the saddle.
