Kickstart your week with a chilled Sunday afternoon music session



Secret Garden has become such a popular event that 2026 is shaping up to be another year of outdoor musical bliss. Taking place amongst lush green foliage and the backdrop of majestic gum trees at the Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Garden, Secret Garden showcases talented local musicians. Music lovers will be delighted to discover folky tunes and gritty blues or reggae vibes and sweet pop sounds, ensuring there is something unique at every event. Secret Garden is like a big community picnic, with featured musicians intimately harmonising with the audience and the sounds of nature.

To celebrate the cooler days of autumn, Secret Garden devotees will be excited with the line-up planned for June 2026:

Shannon Sol Carroll

SECOND PERFORMER TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON

Due to the Botanic Garden’s limited carpark capacity, tickets are sold subject to the available parking spaces:
•$20 per adult
•$5 for children and young people
•FREE for children under 5 years of age
•FREE for Companion Card Holders

Please note that the Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Garden does NOT have refuse bins, so it is important that all litter is removed and taken home, leaving only footprints and taking only memories!



The rescheduled school holiday date means more families can join Secret Garden for some live music in the bushland. Make sure to bring your own picnic, including chairs and/or a rug and invite your family and friends along for a super relaxed and chilled way to wind down at the end of the weekend. Totally idyllic!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
•Can I bring my dog?
No. Domestic pets are prohibited. The Botanic Garden is a wildlife conservation area, including a regionally significant koala population. Qualified and accredited Assistance Dogs are permitted. Documentation must be shown upon arrival.
•What if it rains?
If it's just a light sprinkle, please bring umbrellas and coats to keep comfortable. In the event of a deluge, organisers will postpone the event and inform ticketholders by email. If you can't make the new date, you can request a full refund, including the online booking fee.
•I’m a companion card holder. Do I need a ticket?
Please select the free companion card ticket when you book.



•I booked a ticket and can no longer attend. Can I get a refund?
We get it, plans change. If you can no longer attend and make contact within 48 hours of the event, you are eligible for a refund. Please note, Eventbrite's booking fee is non-refundable. Either send a request via your Eventbrite account or get in touch: [email protected]
•Can I bring alcohol?
This is a family-friendly event held in a public space, so please don't bring alcohol.
•Is there food or drink available to purchase?
No. Please bring your own food and water for this outdoor picnic-style event.
•Is the location wheelchair accessible?
Yes. Use priority parking at the bottom of the garden carpark, adjacent to the lagoon crossing. Concrete paths lead to and through the open lawn area. If you have any concerns or require assistance, please contact the organisers.
