The Redlands Coast Museum is putting on a Show 'n' Tell for the National Trust's Australian Heritage Festival, digging into immigration tales and how various cultures gave Quandamooka Country a bit of a cultural remix. Their immigration display lays out some of these yarns, from why families rocked up to the Redlands, how they made the trip, and when they decided to unpack for good. You'll hear about the neighbours' traditions, treasured oddities, and the odd hiccups of swapping addresses, plus what goodies tumbled out of those suitcases to blend the old world with the new and cook up some quirky local customs.

Pull up a spot on the couch with Jan Nary and a few special guests, who'll spin their own migration stories with all the gritty details of arrivals, baggage both literal and emotional, and how their backgrounds helped shape our neck of the woods into the lively patch it is today.
