The change in seasons and the break in schooling terms are here for Queensland students of all ages and their families for spring break 2025. I've thus listed five recommended spring break activity ideas held in Queensland in 2025, with links to help find their activities, based on a very inclusive and family-friendly theme. The listed ideas are welcoming of all ages and cultures and various other specifics such as disabilities, etc. The 2025 Queensland springtime school holidays are from Saturday, September 20, to the King's Birthday public holiday on Monday, October 6.

Ideas for the Spring Break

2. For history-focused activities, the very inclusive Caboolture Historical Village has the purpose of preserving local heritage. 3. Townsville, in a dynamic council initiative, is now producing a school holiday guide. The guide has many activity ideas, including activities at the family-friendly Queensland Museum Tropics, Townsville Shopping Centre, and Townsville City Libraries.

4. The Logan and the Gold Coast councils have many activities with the Logan KRANK community activities program and its diverse multitude of events. The nearby Gold Coast has the Gold Coast school holiday events for September, which includes venues suitable for all ages, including but not limited to libraries, beach locations that have a high level of accessibility , and parklands.

5. Queensland Art Gallery has an extensive September holiday program featuring activities for families and children of all ages. The gallery has an extensive accessibility statement linked at www.qagoma.qld.gov.au/visit/accessibility and is always improving its accessibility to ensure conditions and disabilities are offered specialised support for art-based activities.
