If youre around Brisbane this December, theres a screening of happening at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre in South Bank on Thursday 18 and Friday 19, kicking off at 7pm each night. Its the spooky Christmas classic projected big on screen, backed by a full live symphony belting out Danny Elfmans haunting score, which snagged him a Grammy back in the day.

Perfect for fans or first-timers dragging the family along, its that weirdly charming mashup of Halloween hijinks and holiday cheer, where Jack Skellington basically tries to steal Christmas and somehow pulls it off with tunes that stick in your head like tinsel in a cobweb.
