Great park for older kids

The park at [Link https://www.moretonbay.qld.gov.au/Services/Sport-Recreation/Parks/Aurora-Boulevard-Park Aurora Boulevard] in the northern suburb of North Lakes, is a great one if you have kids of varying ages.

Featuring a skate ramp, huge climbing nets for older kids, a fully enclosed dog park, fitness equipment, basketball court, playing fields and a nice playground, it is the perfect place to entertain children who are older, or if you have a mix of ages.

Currently undergoing construction where there is additional car parking being added, this park has lots of shelter sheds and picnic areas, as well as toilets with wheelchair access. It is very popular with families on the weekend for birthday parties, and during the week after school to let kids burn off some excess energy.

Younger kids will love the imagination play equipment, including a truck, five way swings, little houses and motor bikes. The playground is partially shaded with a bark bottom.













The older kids will love to use the skatepark, climb on the huge climbing nets and swings and play a game of ball with their mates. Dogs will love the dog park which even has training equipment.

Aurora Boulevard Park is connected to lots of walking paths that make North Lakes such a great community with families. It is a great stopping off point for a pram walk or a jog, with bubblers available to cool down.

Location: 22 Aurora Boulevard, North Lakes. Street parking currently but a car park is being built.
Facilities: Toilets, playground, fitness equipment, dog park, basketball court, skate park, bbqs and shelter sheds.
