Brisbane's south-west will be buzzing over the next two weekends, with two vibrant community markets serving up the very best in local makers, food, and family-friendly fun.
First up, the much-loved Yeerongpilly Green Village Markets returns this Saturday, June 13, from 8:00 am -1:00 pm at 21 Queens Way, Yeerongpilly Green.

Now trading on Saturdays, the
Yeerongpilly Green Village Markets run once a month on the 2nd Saturday during winter. It’s the perfect way to start your weekend - grab a coffee, wander the stalls, and soak up the relaxed community vibe.
Visitors can expect:
• Freshly brewed coffee and a variety of breakfast and brunch options
• Food trucks offering tasty, multicultural eats
• French pastries and sourdough breads
• Local makers showcasing pottery, woodwork, upcycled fashion, jewellery, eco and body products, books, kids wear, and more
• Plants and herbs to brighten your home or garden
• Artisan gin, mead wine + tastings & bottles to go
• Honey, small-batch pickles, jams, sauces, organic teas & fudge and more
• Entertainment free face painting from 9 am to midday & local live music outdoors from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm
• Dog friendly
Whether you're hunting for unique handmade artisan gifts or just looking for a relaxed morning out, Yeerongpilly Green Village Markets has something for everyone.
Maker's stalls will be located indoors & on the veranda and there will be plenty of picnic rugs, seating & green spaces for families to enjoy & outdoor lawn games.

Sunrise Market @ Witton Barracks – Sunday, June 21
The following weekend, market lovers can head riverside for the
Sunrise Market @ Witton Barracks on Sunday, June 21, from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm at 9 Lambert Rd, Witton Barracks, Indooroopilly.
With direct access from Indooroopilly train station and the river walk, it's an easy, scenic morning outing for families, friends, and locals.
This special edition of the market will feature a kids' pop-up mini market, where around 20–25 young stallholders will be running their very own stalls. It's a fantastic opportunity to support budding young entrepreneurs and creators.
Adding to the atmosphere, local school bands will perform free live sets, creating a lively, family-friendly soundtrack to your morning.

Just like its sister market, Sunrise Market @ Witton Barracks offers a delicious mix of food, creativity, and community:

• Food trucks with a variety of meals and snacks
• Pastries and sourdough breads from both Italian and French bakers
• Multicultural eats showcasing global flavours
• Local makers with bespoke pottery, woodwork, upcycled fashion, jewellery, eco and body essentials, books, dog treats, kids wear, plants and herbs
• Silversmiths and artisan jewellery makers
• Farm fresh local produce, including honey, small-batch pickles, jams, and sauces
