Theres a First 5 Forever storytime session at the Pop-up Library in Dorrington Park, Ashgrove on April 24, 2026. Its for bubs to five-year-olds and their parents or carers, with stories and songs that might just hold the attention of even the squirmiest toddler. This Queensland Government initiative gets coordinated by the State Library of Queensland and runs with local councils pitching in.

Parked at 5 Mirrabooka Road, its a low-key park vibe where kids can roll in the grass between rhymes, and parents get a breather while the tales unfold. No grand promises, just stories on offer for the under-fives crew.
