Underwood Park is home to an all ages playground, and is a firm favourite with Brisbanite families. Located in the Logan suburb of Priestdale, it is often referred to as one of Brisbane's biggest and best.


So what's there? One of the main features that has visitors flocking to Underwood is FUNderwood Hollow, a wooden, castle like play fortress that looks like something straight out of an Enid Blyton novel. The structure was originally designed using the story of Peter Pan as inspiration, and this awesome playground is definitely fit for those who do not wish to grow up.

There are towers to climb, wobble bridges to cross and various scramble nets, rock walls and a fireman's pole to master. The tall towers contain bench seating, perfect for a meeting of the 'Lost Boys', and various, oddly shaped windows to spy out of. The structure really is lovely to look at and is decorated with carved wooden critters including a friendly monkey and a wise owl.


In addition to FUNderwood, there is loads of other play equipment in the park to keep the kids entertained, including a secondary, sand based play area with walking platforms and slides. There are also sand diggers for younger visitors, a flying fox, swings, climbing web, roundabout and a ride on, pedal car track.

Families can also enjoy useful ammenities at the park such as sheltered picnic tables, BBQs, on site toilets and free parking.

Underwood Park is located on Underwood Road in Priestdale. Once you enter the gates to Underwood Park, make sure to pass the wetlands area, skate park and sports club, the playground is at the end of the road and has it's own parking.
