Get along to the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) Winter Design Market - Brisbane’s ultimate cool-weather creative hangout from 25-26 July 2026 for two days of stylish stalls, local makers, handmade treasures and unique gifts which are set against the buzzing South Bank arts precinct.



It’s the perfect excuse to browse beautiful design, meet artists, grab a coffee and soak up relaxed winter vibes — part market, part art experience, and completely Brisbane.

Soak up the winter sunshine at the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) and join us from 9.00am to 4.00pm for two vibrant days celebrating creativity, design and local talent. Discover more than 80 independent designers, makers and creatives showcasing beautiful handmade pieces, unique finds and inspiring creations.


Make a full day of it — drop your market treasures at the GOMA cloakroom, then step inside to explore the many free exhibitions across Queensland Art Gallery (QAG) and GOMA. The Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) is Brisbane’s leading contemporary art gallery, located at South Bank. Part of the Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art, it showcases modern Australian and international art through exhibitions, large installations, film programs and family-friendly experiences — with many exhibitions free to visit.

Here’s what you need to know:
- Entry is FREE plus dogs are welcome in outdoor areas
- The market will feature new vendors each day, so visit twice for the full experience
- The markets are easy to get to with 50c public transport fares, onsite parking and nearby street parking
- Everything is free to enjoy. Just bring your curiosity and your market mood!



The market is covered, so will go ahead rain, hail or shine. The markets will be held at Stanley Place, South Brisbane.
