Scattered Arts Gallery in Wynnum is opening its doors over three days to welcome the community to its Open Days from 4 to 6 June 2026.



It is a cheerful treasure cave run by a whole crew of local makers. The group formed as a collection of artists who got together, s brought creativity everywhere, and opened a bright little shop on Edith Street. Here you can wander in, see their creations, and be tempted to walk out with something handmade and fabulous.

It’s a colourful mix of crafty goodness, friendly faces, and workshops where you can unleash your inner artist, all wrapped up in a community vibe that feels like Wynnum giving you a warm, artsy hug.



This June, Scattered Arts is inviting the community to its open day at its gallery and workshop space. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet local artisans and makers, explore our gallery and the workshop environment.

The Open Day will feature:
- A chance to meet local artists and makers
- Browse artworks, handmade pieces, and creative displays
- Live demonstrations or mini workshops
- Chat about classes like painting, watercolour, or mixed media
- A welcoming, drop-in atmosphere (where no art experience needed!)

It is hoped that the day will encourage conversation, inspire new ideas, and strengthen connections between organisations that value creativity, wellbeing, sustainability, and community participation.



Whether your focus is on arts, education, social connection, wellbeing, or community development, visitors are welcome to come by and view the pieces in the gallery. It’s the perfect opportunity to connect, get inspired, and discover just how accessible and enjoyable creativity can be for everyone.
