Our lists are continually updated and cover the best places for kids and parents across Brisbane, however we are aware that this list doesn't include all the great services on offer, but it's a great place to start! Remember to always do your own research and make sure the service meets your personal needs.
Belmont Private Hospital Mental Health Unit Belmont Private Hospital has several programmes that have been specially created for post natal women, whether struggling with emotional or psychological difficulties after birth, looking to touch up on their parenting skills in a positive way, or even if they're simply hoping to better understand their child's needs and emotions.

Mater Mothers Parenting Support Centre, South Brisbane The Mater Mothers Parenting Support Centre offers a wide range of post natal services and guidance for parents up to six months after birth. The centre provides support for issues such as breastfeeding, sleep and settling, emotional wellbeing, and infant interactions as well as advice on how to adjust to your new role as a parent. There is a variety of appointment types available including one on one consultations, group workshops, online appointments, and half and full day sessions.

Mater Pharmacy Redlands The Mater Pharmacy in Cleveland is home to a weekly baby clinic every Monday from 9:00am to 12 noon, offering new mums a free baby weighing service and advice on various newborn issues, as well as answering any questions you may have about the general health of your children.

Jayne Vidler, Private Lactation Consultant Jayne Vidler is a private lactation consultant based in Ipswich, offering various services including infant feeding advice, tongue and lip tie support, breastfeeding and parenting guidance, as well as early parenting support.
"My lactation consultant, Jayne Vidler, has been invaluable during my first couple of weeks establishing breastfeeding. She's based at Ipswich but does home visits around Brisbane too. She came to me on our first night home from hospital and gave me the confidence boost I needed." - BMG Member

Miracle Hope Registry Miracle Hope Registry is a place where grieving parents can publicly record their early pregnancy loss memories and stories. It gives families the chance to publicly mourn and acknowledge the littles ones that have been lost without feeling that they are discussing a taboo subject. A unique and highly important service to helps parents and family members feel a little less alone during a distressing time.
Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital Lactation Consultant The RBWH is home to specialised lactation consultants that offer various services, care and information for feeding your baby. Regular consultations are held each weekday morning at 11:00am where new mums can attend with any questions or concerns, and join in on the weekly discussion, as well as growing their support network.

Perinatal Mental Health Services, Metro North Hospitals Supporting women who struggle with their emotional and psychological wellbeing post birth, the Perinatal Mental Health Unit in Nundah has a range of services on offer. As well as mental health assessments and treatment recommendations, patients can also receive helpful information regarding dealing with birth trauma, post natal depression and anxiety.

Zen Baby Post-natal Pilates, Upper Mount Gravatt Participating in post-natal pilates can be a great way to look after your body and mind after birth, as well as being the perfect introduction back into more strenuous exercise. And the best bit? Zen Baby wants you to bring bubs along too! Classes last for 55 minutes and the cost can also be claimed back on private health insurance. As well as pilates, Zen Baby also offer Baby Massage and Baby Yoga.
