An exciting new local conscious festive shopping event - The BIG Handmade Christmas Market - is taking over The Old Museum on Sunday 7th December.

All are welcome to come along and enjoy a fun-filled day of exploring mindfully made products, unique gifts and delicious handmade goodies from 60+ independent makers. Register for your FREE ticket here or $5 at the door.

Held from 10 am to 3 pm, The BIG Handmade Christmas Market brings together a curated showcase of locally produced, high-quality products crafted by fabulous Brisbane artists, artisans and creators.

This special one-day event is about celebrating mindful making, creativity and thoughtful buying! Market-goers can connect directly with creators and support thoughtful vendors. The selection includes artisan jewellery, sustainable fashion, vegan and plant-based goods, ceramics, and freshly baked treats. Ploys, Greetings from Hell, Studio Martso and Good Grain are just some of the featured stallholders!

Browse, connect and appreciate thoughtfully made products and support Australian Made. It's the perfect opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind Christmas gifts for loved ones and special wares and treats for your festive celebrations.

PLUS FREE Aura photos between 10-11am - so arrive early! There will also be Christmas Creative Workshops for the kids!

Where: The Old Museum, 480 Gregory Terrace, Bowen Hills
Cost: Register for your FREE ticket here or $5 at the door. Kids under 12 are FREE.
Parking: Please note that there is no on-site patron parking at The Old Museum for events. Check with the RNA or King Street parking stations for rates and information. There is also metered street parking in Gregory Terrace, King Street and surrounding side streets.
Public Transport: The Old Museum is located 0.6 km north of the Fortitude Valley Railway station along Brunswick Street. Bus stop 7 is located directly outside The Old Museum. For details of public transport to the venue, click here.
