is the sort of weekend that smells faintly of fairy floss and tractor oil and somehow suits both. Set at the historic Maleny Showgrounds in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, it stitches together rural tradition and family friendly chaos: livestock and animal encounters, hands on exhibits, competitive show entries, local food stalls, live music and carnival rides. Whether you're a regular or a one?time wanderer, there will be plenty of oddities to gawp at and things to do that do not involve your phone.

Entertainment ranges from Dinky D's trackless trains and colourful carnival rides to Funky Books Live with Chris Collin's interactive storytelling and puppetry; FLAIR Action Sports' motorcycle and bike stunts; Memphis Moovers' roving music, balloons and circus play; Wildlife Unleashed's animal presentations; Cowgirls with Wings' trick riding; Country Stars Australia 2026 on the live music front; and KC's Arena Spectacular featuring monster trucks, freestyle motocross, jet car action and fireworks. Children aged 5 and under enter free. Children 6 and over require a ticket. On?site parking is limited, with offsite parking and free buses provided. Companion Card holders receive free entry when accompanying a paying patron. No pets unless they are entered in an organised event.
