Kids haven in the city

Heading into the city with children in tow can be a daunting thought. So having a fantastic all abilities playground in the city is very refreshing. It is an escape from the hustle and bustle, and the playground itself is a destination.

The Brisbane Botanic Gardens Playground, also called [Link https://www.brisbane.qld.gov.au/things-to-see-and-do/council-venues-and-precincts/parks/botanic-gardens-in-brisbane/city-botanic-gardens/baldwin-lawn-playground Baldwin Lawn Playground], has some awesome features with equipment for all ages and abilities. With its bright green aesthetic and lots of places to climb and explore, it is picturesque for you as a parent and lots of fun for the kids.

Some of the facilities within the playground include a large climbing fort, slides, carousel, sensory panels, musical instruments and a sand digger. They also have a fantastic toddler swing where you can swing along with your little one. There is wheelchair accessible equipment as well.

The park itself is not fully shaded apart from by the surrounding trees, however, is it built on soft fall flooring to avoid any accidents. It is also nearby to the river, with so many walking paths and grassy lawns for picnics, bike riding and family gatherings. And just because it is in the city, does not mean it is noisy. In fact, it is very serene as it is in the gardens, and you can't hear the noises from the city at all.

If you want to hear more about the Brisbane Botanic Gardens, you can see a full review from a Brisbane Mum [Link https://brisbanemumsgroup.com.au/city-botanic-gardens/ here].

Location: Ann Street, Brisbane. There is off street parking available nearby. Or it is close by to the city cat and lots of public transport options.
