There’s no shortage of things to do with your family.

Moreton Bay has launched a bumper community events program featured a huge range of family friendly events. From Movies or Music in the Park to a Teddy Bear’s Picnic, there is something for everyone.

Presented by Moreton Bay Regional Council and delivered by Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism (MBRIT), the full program features 43 community events across the calendar year, with most suitable for families.

September Events:

Teddy Bears Picnic
Thursday, 1st September 9am – 12pm
Pine Rivers Park, 125 Gympie Road, Strathpine

Pack your teddies and picnic blankets and mark the start of Spring with a Teddy Bears Picnic in Pine Rivers Park. Get ready to sing, dance, listen to stories at a jam-packed morning of family friendly entertainment. There will also be an animal farm, pony rides and more!

Morayfield Movie in the Park
Saturday, 3rd September 5pm – 8pm
Morayfield State School, Morayfield

Enjoy a quality family night out with a Movie in the Park in Morayfield. Sit back and enjoy this free event with the family by watching a screening of Disney’s Jungle Cruise.

Narangba Movie in the Park
Friday, 9th September 5pm – 8pm
Norfolk Lakes Park, Narangba

If you’ve seen the original you’re going to LOVE Space Jam: A New Legacy! This one is a slam dunk for the whole family with the classic characters we all know and adore. From Bugs Bunny to Daffy Duck the whole Looney Tunes crew is here! Pack your picnic rugs and chairs and enjoy a Friday night under the stars.

Griffin Movie in the Park
Saturday, 10th September, 5pm – 8pm
Griffin State School, Griffin

Experience a quality family night out with a Movie in the Park night in Griffin! Sit back, relax and enjoy this free event by watching a family friendly screening of ‘Clifford the Big Red Dog’.

Redcliffe KiteFest
Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th September, 9am – 4pm
Pelican Park, Clontarf

Get ready for the ultimate family-friendly weekend with national and international kite displays, Bluey and PAW Patrol live on stage, kids entertainment, live music, activities and workshops, market and food stalls, and so much more!
