Jam packed fun to be had at one of these top theme parks

There is nothing I love better than a theme park, and going to a theme park with a kid in tow is even more fun. The joy at seeing their favourite characters brought to life, cuddling Australian animals or riding some crazy coasters is incredible.

We are lucky enough in Brisbane to have so many theme parks and leisure parks right on our doorstep. Here are some of the best.

Hot Tip: To save some money, choose one of these options:

  • Buy a yearly or annual pass. You can save big bucks with these if you think you will go back more than once.

  • Check if you can get cheaper tickets and discounts through your private health insurance, Flybuys or RACQ. You can often get 10% off with these.

  • Book online before you go. You can often save and you also miss a big line. Double win.

  • Do you know of any other sure fire ways to save money on the theme parks?
